Appliqued Initial Tee Giveaway! (ends October 18)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Hey guys! Lately the crafting bug has bit me and I've been busy making all kinds of goodies, P.J. pants, embroidered shirts, birthday decorations, and more! The one thing I've done a lot of (and each time I get a little bit better) is make appliqued initial tee shirts.

So far I've made FIVE Halloween ones, for my babies and friends.

I decided since I like getting practice to keep getting better, to GIVE ONE AWAY! Yep.

***All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me what initial you'd want on the shirt if YOU win it!***

Now, here's the kicker...it won't be a Halloween shirt, because by the time I do the contest, draw a name, and make it, it will be too close to Halloween for you to get any use out of it. So, the center will be picked by me...maybe a gender specific fabric (I'd say boys can wear an initial tee up to about age four before they start looking to fruity), maybe a holiday fabric...the finished product will be a surprise for you to discover when you get your package!

Extra entries: (new comment for each one you do, even each re-tweet)

-follow my blog (click it on the left)
-grab my button and tell me where you put it
-follow me on twitter (jessremington)
-tell me what colors/fabrics you'd just love on a teeshirt like this
-tweet about this contest (make sure to include @jessremington so I can see it AND make sure to leave a comment so I know you did it...you don't have to link up b/c I have no clue how to do that myself, just tell me you did it and I can check if I want)***This can be done daily if you want*** Sample Tweet:
Win an appliqued initial t-shirt from @jessremington-http://bit.ly/SMgVC easy to enter!
-share your favorite craft to create
-become a facebook fan of Finding Joy (click on the link on top left)
-share your favorite part of Halloween

*Make sure if your email address is not visible in your profile that you leave your email address in at least one of the comments you make or you will not be qualified*

If you want to order an initial tee, email me at theremingtons (at) cox (dot) net and we can talk. Price is $15, plus $2 shipping.

I would choose the letter "D" - and either one of my kiddos could wear it! If it was a boy shirt, it would hopefully fit my son. If it was a girl shirt, it would eventually fit my baby girl. If it was a holiday shirt that currently fit my son and then would fit my baby girl - bonus!

I enjoy painting so crafts such as tole painting, etc. appeal to me. My son and I just finished making an acorn wreath for my mom for her birthday with his "acorn collection". It turned out well but I'm not sure wreath making is for me...

Colors...

My old high school colors were fun- kelly green, white and black.

I love good old american colors- red, white and blue.

Xmas in hot pink, red, kelly green and turquoise. And candy canes! Or Christmas trees or santa clauses {just not the creepy clown looking ones!}

I second what someone else said too- a bright blue sky color on white. Pretty!
