Ethan, as we all know, is an extremely adorable baby. I mean, squishy, kissy cheeks; a laugh that melts your heart; and fat rolls all over...what's not to love?
Ethan got to review a pair of Jack & Lily shoes for the BLOGGY BIRTHDAY BASH. He decided he wanted the shoes shown here to go with his adorable sail boat outfit. Let me tell you...he made a great decision.
These shoes are fantastic...soft soles, flexible, easy to get on/off.
Jack & Lily has a ton of shoes to choose from.If I had a daughter...these shoes would be hers.

I found a great little boutique online one day when searching for a gift for a friend's baby.
It is The Couture Baby, run by a mother and daughter. They started in 2008 when Marissa had Mia and she wanted to dress her in personalized unique, couture outfits.
If you don't see something you like, but have an idea of what you are looking for, they can eve do custom orders.
I ordered this cotton onesie for Ethan, and instead of an "E" had her do his name instead. I can't wait until it is warm enough for him to wear it! (See Ethan's overalls below) She has a few other boy things, too, so just ask if you want something not shown.
Marissa is quick to respond to questions, too. I loved working with her on this outfit.

I ♥ a baby that holds his own bottle

I am weaning Ethan. It has been/is a slow process, one feeding at a time, stretched out over however long I want it to be. I am thinking of getting him down to nursing once first thing in the morning and then last thing at night. (Have any of you done that? How did it work?)
Yesterday I was holding Ethan when noticed he was holding his bottle, too. I put him on the floor and sure enough, he laid there and ate the whole thing!
I was very excited...my right wrist keeps having a stabbing pain that comes and goes, so him developing this skill was okay by me.
Can you believe he will be six months old next Monday?
Time sure flies....
