TodaysMama and Provo Craft are giving away a sleighful of gifts this holiday season and to enter I’m sharing this meme with you.
1. What 5 items are on your holiday wish list this year?
- warm socks for the nighttime (cause my warm ones have holes and I never remember to buy some new ones)
- skirts from DownEastBasics.com (and this one and this one)
- scrapbooking supplies...or a gift card to a local scrapbook store.
- plastic spatulas for scrapping bowls
- snow boots
2. What is your favorite handmade gift you have received?
- candy!
- knitted hat and scarf
- I wasn't a child, but this super annoying robot kitty from my dad that is STILL at my parents house, meowing away.
- Brennan: Legos, Bike
- Jackson: "soccer thing" aka Foosball table
- Ethan: FOOD
- Does "all desserts" count as "food"?
- Wooden Stars with JOY in them for Brennan's teachers, a Merry Christmas block that I will post pictures of soon, reindeer and snowman iron on tees, maybe matching p.j. pants.
- 4 Christmas's...sure, it's a new release, but it is so darn funny, I can see myself watching it every year.
- Harry Connick Jr.'s song, "It Must Have Been Old Santa Claus"
- decorating sugar cookies with Bart's Aunt Linda's family (and now just my family in Omaha.)
2 Words to brighten my day:
I am with you deserts count as a favorite holiday food!!
When my 2 littles guys were in k -2, I knit all their wonderful teachers scarves. Past that, the teachers get my grandmother's coffee cake! (Recipe on Thursday this week). You might like the scarf I made my son when he was 14 for Christmas! It's one of the most perfect yet difficult gift ever!
