So, Brennan came downstairs this morning, after decorating the tree and going to bed last night, and says, "I checked to see if there was presents, but there was just a rug".
Ha. He is referring to the tree skirt that was added after he went to bed.
He follows this statement with, "I dreamed about Santa Claus, but it was just my hat". (He got a Santa hat yesterday.)
Both of these were so funny that I had to write them down and share them with you.

Brennan's probably thinking, 'Darn that rug! Santa's supposed to bring presents! Or did he forget? I knew there was something weird about that man. Next year I'm not going to sit on his lap!'
I wish I could see Brennan in his new phase of life. He sounds so grown up! The world is getting bigger for him.
