Here are Seven Random Things about me:
- I was due on Christmas Eve and my name was supposed to be either Merry Christmas McClure or Christmas Noel McClure (or something equally horrid). Thank goodness I was born on New Year's Eve!
- I had a wooden leg named Gertrude when I was a senior in high school...Gertrude even made it into the VHS 1998 yearbook.
- My family has had an odd assortment of pets...pot bellied pigs, baby cows, a baby horse that was sick and hung out in our living room, watching Wheel of Fortune.
- I am terrified of hamsters. One crawled on my in my sleep as a teenager (my brothers had lost one that day) and I caught it under a cup, only to have it escape...Now, I really don't like the little guys.
- My secret desire is to have a perfect home with beautiful decorations. Instead I always have a load of laundry hanging out by the couch, a messy kitchen (not dirty, just cluttered), and no pictures on the walls or any great decorations to be seen.
- I love to be crafty, but hate certain crafts.
- I feel that I must check out the prices of big purchase items at ten different stores before I can settle on one. Example: Brennan and Jackson's Christmas items...I have searched every website twice for kids digital cameras and radio flyer tricycles.
4 Words to brighten my day:
Please tell me a little bit more about Gertrude. I am interested...
Wow you are an interesting GAL!
Christmas is merry and so are you (or would have been!). I think you look like a Jessica-
Christmas... not so much. But I would have liked you either way!
That's a good list, I got tagged too, so I've got to put my thinking cap on.
Your 7 could surely be on my list. I get tired of looking at stuff, but I can't stand to think that I paid too much for something, or could have gotten something better at the same price. Our dryer is dying slowly, so we have started looking for a new one; I am not very excited about this.
