I was reminded of another book series I used to read, The Babysitters Club. Thanks Kris. My Grandmother Burke owned a book store and sent a box of books to our family each month. I could hardly wait to see what those crazy girls were up to next. I wanted to have a babysitting kit like them and have lots of fun jobs and a cool club, too. Unfortunately, we lived in the country and the only people I babysat were my siblings...no fame or fortune in that. I still had some great adventures with them, though.

5 Words to brighten my day:

I love those books! I am not sure I read all of them, but I must have come close. Did you know that they made a movie or tv series out of it too?

yes, i saw some of the t.v. shows and even owned a movie or BSC. I read all of them up until like 150 or something. by that point, i was just too old to continue and my grandma sold her bookstore...

I loved those books! I actually babysat a lot so I did end up making a litte babysitting kit. I haven't thought about that in a long time. I'm glad you posted it! I loved the Boxcar Children too.

I remember my cousins had almost all of them.

I loved that book series and I also loved The Sweet Valley Twins- I wanted to make a club called the Unicorns that all wore purple too- so funny that seeing this post reminded me of that. Good times.
