Saturday night I went to Linda's FABULOUS birthday crop! For those of you not familiar with scrapbooking terms, that means a bunch of us crazy ladies gathered (some as early as 10 a.m., I didn't get there until 5 p.m.) to spend a day (ending around midnight, I left at 11 due to an early church meeting Sunday) gabbing, scrapping, and eating! Now that's my idea of a good time!
Linda, and her daughter Stacy, brought tons of food for a Taco Bar (YUMMY!) for supper and a delicious cake for all to share. They also were so kind as to rent out the room for us to crop, so I spent a grand total of $0.79 and completed a lot of layouts.I had brought a snack to share, but let's just say you should not put a glass bowl on top of a non flat surface in the parking lot...thanks to all the ladies who DID manage to get into the store with their snacks safely. Fat Baby and I really enjoyed them (especially the Butterfingers and cherry Dum-Dum)
If you are wondering who is who in the picture, I am on the far top left side, in the striped gray shirt (thanks Jamie!) and the pink boa. Diana (how I know Linda) is on the far top right side, second from the end in the flamingo hat. And Linda, the birthday girl, is in the middle on the bottom row, in the orange and black boa. The store, Precious Treasures, has decorated its crop room as a DIVA room, with tons of dress up stuff for fun pictures!
