I love to wake up to a darker than normal room in the morning and realize it is raining. Bart is a bit "under the weather", so the alarm didn't go off as usual & I wasn't jarred out of sleep. Since it is dark outside, Brennan and Jackson slept in, and I was able to lay in the bed for a few peaceful minutes, enjoying the sound of rain and thunder.
Now we're up (well, 3 out of 4) and taking it slow...slowly taking a bath, slowly eating breakfast, you get the point.
Will this leisurely feel last all day?

Oh, and I found some super cute rain boots at Marshall's yesterday for a fraction of the price...I guess this means I need to go and get those red polka-dotted cuties!

The past few days have been the same way here. I have to say I love it too! I love the sound of rain on my roof. I'm also glad that I don't have to work that much anymore so I can stay at home and enjoy it. Enjoy your new rain boots!!
Love the rain too- too bad there hasn't been much around here lately. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. If it was raining, I'd be complaining that I couldn't go for a walk and when it's not, I'm complaining that it's too hot and sunny for a walk. What's a girl to do?!
go to the mall to walk...always the perfect choice.
I love rainy days! Well, as long as I don't have to get out in it a whole lot.
