My babies have Fuzzibunz, Giveaway ends July 21st

Cloth diapering.

Sounds a bit scary, old school, and stinky, right?

WRONG!

Kim at FuzziBunz sent me two cloth diapers to review...one medium and one large.
When the diapers came and I opened the package, Bart said, "Those don't look like any cloth diapers I've ever seen before!" (I wrote it down b/c it was so funny)

Folks, cloth diapers are NOT the prefolds that require pins that hurt you and the baby and need covers. NOPE! They have come a LONG way from the days of white, rectangle, leaky cloths. You'll see...

These diapers fit a wide range of kids, come in a variety of colors (because I am learning CDing is all about the variety of cute on the booties), and are so easy to get a great fit...Four snaps total and you're done. Even wiggly Ethan was easy to diaper in one.

Ethan and Jackson (who is potty trained but refuses to wake up at night so he sleeps in a diaper) have been sleeping in their new diapers and I have had no leaks! This is great because Ethan leaks through a lot of different brands of disposable diapers. Jackson loves how soft the diaper is. (The inside is lined in fleece)

I love the pocket system...just slide the stuffing in after you wash and they are ready for the next stinky change. I also like that they come in both the "one size" for those "average" babies and then the sized ones as well. I have BIG babies, so having a choice is great for me and my chubby cheeks babies.

Fuzzibunz is going one lucky reader a 3 pack of diapers! I am SOOOOO jealous. Really, the diaper bug has bit and now I want all things cloth diaper related. :)

To enter (and this must be done before the gazillion "extra" entries count) simply go to Fuzzibunz and pick your favorite color and tell me what size you'd want. Mine is yellow, but that is just the LSU in me coming out. I love Ethan's orange diaper, too...I mean, so cute. Leave a comment (be sure to include email address if it is not listed your profile) and cross your fingers that you are the WINNER on July 21st (why so far from today? Cause I will be in FL until then!).

Extra Entries: (one comment per entry, cause if you leave one comment with it all, guess what...it counts as one entry.)

*Follow my blog
*Grab my button and put it on your fabulous blog
*sign up for the Fuzzibunz newsletter and leave me a comment (be honest! the bloggy demi-gods are watching, along with Percy Jackson and his dad)
*Blog about this giveaway and link to it in the comments so I can check it out.
*Tweet about the contest and let me know...I do not do twitter, but I know you CD addicts do, so just let me know you did it.
*Find out if there is a store in your area that sells them and tell me which one it is (if there are none, tell me which online store you'd use to order)
*Give me one good reason from Fuzzibunz website to use their diaper as opposed to any other cloth diaper out there.
*Give me one reason why you DO cloth diaper or why you would want to TRY to cloth diaper.
*Go watch Fuzzibunz short video (be honest!) and tell me what it is about.

That's a LOT of ways to win...have fun if you are new to cloth diapering, like me, and are just discovering it all. If you're an old pro at cloth diapering and just addicted to winning more (not that I have any friends with that problem ;) then you know the drill and have probably written a novel on cloth diapering to me in the comment section.

Thanks for entering and for finding out more about Fuzzibunz...watch out...if you haven't caught the cloth diapering bug...by the time I am done with you (or my friend Megan) you just might.

I like the turquoise one. They should have some patterns that are more boy-ish though. I thought the flowers were cute, but I just couldn't do it.

Oh, and there is a place near me that sells them - Retailer Website:

Good to know. Who knows, I might try it.

I watched the video. It shows the diaper, top and bottom, and has testimonials from a few people about how great it is with being reusable, great for the environment, and leak proof.

I would like to try cloth diapering because I always have a guilty conscience thinking of all of those disgusting diapers piling up in a landfill somewhere.

Stacy Hutchinson said...

I posted about it on my blog: http://hanginwiththehutchinsons.blogspot.com/2009/07/who-knew.html

No stores in Louisiana. Why am I not surprised? I'd probably use the fuzzibunz store and buy the "everything you need" package.

Stacy Hutchinson said...

My reason for using Fuzzibunz instead of any other would be because I trust your judgment, Jessica!!

I want to try CD because I'm tried of Leo walking up from his diaper leaking at night. OOPs I forgot to post a size last time. I think I'd like the one size since it grows with baby.

One reason to use Fuzzibunz

FuzziBunz® diapers have ADJUSTABLE WAIST AND LEG SETTINGS so you get a customized fit each and every time. In other words, if your baby has a slim waist and chubby legs, FuzziBunz® diapers will still fit your baby comfortably and snugly.

I found out that the Cozy Baby Boutique in Kirkland, WA sells Fuzzi Bunz.

Lisa said...

The best reason to use Fuzzi Bunz over other cloth diapers is that they are the trimmest fitting cloth diapers. That was a huge selling point for me since most baby clothes are cut to fit disposable diapers, not bulky cloth diapers.

Lisa said...

I cloth diaper my daughter to save money. (I also use cloth wipes.)

I watched the Fuzzi Bunz video. It's about the diapers themselves and why they are good to use. It also has testimonials from parents who use them.

MW in Lincoln has Fuzzibunz

Although I would probably buy online just because I'm somewhat addicted..and driving to Lincoln isn't exactly "on the way" to anywhere I go.

Crissy said...

Fuzzibunz are the trimmest fitting diaper on the market right now. They fit like somewhat like a disposable..but don't fill our landfills on a daily basis.

Crissy said...

I really want to try CD to help cut down on some costs at home. I also want to find a diaper that will fit my chubby legged princess but not be too big in the waist area. It's getting more difficult to get a good fit with disposables.

Crissy said...

The video showed how using Fuzzibunz will save you money (especially when you have children. I liked hearing from everyday people on how great of a product Fuzzibunz is!

I have bought FuzziBunz locally at Cutie Tooties, but I now prefer to buy them online to avoid paying the 10% sales tax. Online, I have bought them from Kelly's Closet & Banana Peels.

Denise said...

From the website...Fuzzi Bunz are the trimmest reusable diaper on the market. (my opinion: they fit nicely under all my daughter's clothes)

Denise said...

I don't know that I can give you just one reason that I cloth diaper. I think the top reason for me now is that they are sooo CUTE!!! The reason I originally switched was to save money, but I've quickly become addicted & am now an avid cloth diaper collector!!

My son - who is only 19 months - is already outgrowing disposable diapers (we live in a place w/o laundry nearby, so we use disposables). However, it looks like I'm going to have to switch to cloth diapers to find something big enough for him! I'm hoping I can find some that work, since he's already 35 lbs!

I like the baby blue diapers. So cute!

I love the aqua. I cloth diapered my last child, but never tried fuzzibunz. Now that we're expecting again, we plan on giving cloth diapering another go. If I won, I'd want a size small - my girls seemed to stay in that weight range for a long time.

Erica said...

I'm now following you!

Erica said...

Fuzzibunz are the trimmest fitting diaper - very important indeed.

Erica said...

We like cloth diapering because it was so cost effecient! After a certain number of uses, we were practically diapering for free.

Erica said...

There are no stores in my area that sell them (we live in Japan) but I'd use nickisdiapers.com to order. We've used them before and they're very quick with free (or really cheap) shipping.

I like the periwinkle (size medium). I love their color choices.

RR said...

We use fuzzi bunz, and I love their sizing flexibility (the multiple snaps) -- they're great as a baby grows; and with the removable inserts, they dry fast.

RR said...

We cloth diaper as I don't want a landfill full of plastic diapers hanging on my son's environmental conscience.

RR said...

There isn't a store that carries fuzzi bunz in my area, but I ordered my [6] diapers from
www.nurturedfamily.com.

I really like the red daisy in medium size

We'd like to start using cd's for lots of reasons, but the TOP 2 are:

1) My husband said he'd clean them.
2) The average newborn uses over 3,000 diapers their first year of life!! YIKES!

The Iowa Farmer's Wife said...

Whoops, we would need a Medium. :) I have a chubby newborn.
