Last year, on Nov. 23, Kristabelle received a small bowel transplant. Without it, she might not be here to celebrate this Nov. 23. Kristabelle is such a sweet girl and I am so grateful she was able to get the transplant and is doing so well now. I am glad her mother and I did mall walking this spring so I got to know her a little better.
Kristabelle and her family were featured in the Omaha World Herold recently. Take a minute and read her story. It's amazing how wonderful technology is to be able to change a family's life for the better. I know I try to remember to thank my Father in Heaven for all my blessings, even those that do not always directly affect me, like doctors, medicines, and life saving operations and I am sure Kristabelle's family, and so many others, do to.
