He just doesn't get it.

This morning I was coaching Jackson on how to tell an April Fools joke. I told him to tell Bart and Brennan he was five years old and then say "April Fools!" when they were surprised. He got VERY upset, looked at me and said, "I not want to be big! I TWO!" and held up two little fingers.

Poor baby. I know the feeling sometimes.

But, the countdown to birthday #3 is almost to an end...4 more days and Jackson will grow up a little more.

4 Words to brighten my day:

Max has been telling people he is 13 and when they say No I don't think so, he laughs and says No I'm really 5. It's not an April Fool's joke. He just lies a lot.

Sounds like you have a Peter Pan on your hands. Hopefully he won't fly off with Wendy and the Lost Boys to terrorize Captain Hook anytime soon!

I am the opposite of Jackson this year, I can't wait to turn 30! My whole life, people think I'm younger than I am and still ask me if I just graduated college {and, horror of horrors, sometimes high school}.

I'll still get the Hhow old are you?' and the 'You don't look that old- I thought you were younger!' comments, but now I'll be able to say I'm no longer in my 20's. How refreshing it will be {for me!}

It also doesn't help that I have a high pitched little girl voice. *Sigh* Some things will never change.

Are you still doing a Mickey themed party? I can't wait to see pictures!

That is too funny. Kids say the darnest things. I just love you hear your stories!

Cute! Yesterday at Walgreens, Christian told the cashier he was ONE! I quickly said "um..are you sure you're not maybe...4?" and he very firmly said "NO!! Papi always tells me I'M NUMBER ONE!!"
